Carved of stone, the tall Labradors are set on an rectangular flat base; seated on their back legs, both dogs have a proud expression further embellished with a collar around their neck and two puppies hiding under their legs. The vintage garden sculptures adorn a patinated antique weathered finish with evidence of outdoor use. Both stone canines are in excellent condition and could be used on either side of a front door. Each dog weighs 150 pounds. Labradors, specifically Labrador Retrievers, were originally bred as working dogs, primarily for retrieving game during hunting. They have a strong retrieving instinct and a gentle mouth, making them ideal for fetching game without damaging it.
