About
Invite classic French elegance into your home with this Louis XV style fruit wood bombe chest of drawers from Paris, circa 1920. The antique commode shaped as a demilune (half moon) sits on four cabriole legs ending with sabot feet, over a scalloped apron decorated with a bronze mount. The petite chest with bombe front and sides is embellished with brass mounts at the shoulders; it features two drawers with the original bronze pulls and matching escutcheons. The nightstand is dressed with a grey and white shaped marble top. The cabinet decorated with marquetry inlaid motifs on the drawers and both curved sides, is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. It would make a wonderful statement as a bedside table in a bedroom or a small wall console in a powder room or hallway. Measures: 27.5″ W x 14″ D x 30″ H.
