Decorate a powder room or a wine cellar with this elegant antique gilt mirror! Crafted in France, circa 1870, the ornate pierced pediment features a bunch of grape and vine decor cartouche, flanked with leaf and vine roots on both sides. The thick frame is further embellished with floral motifs in high relief in each bottom corner. The Louis XV style mirror is dressed with the original mercury glass and wood backing. The wall mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a beautiful and rich gold leaf finish. New wire and hooks in the back for easy installation. Versatile and having a wonderful size, the wall decor could also be placed over a console in an entry, or in a living room over a mantel. Measures: 34.5″ x 62″H
