Decorate a dining table with this elegant suite of antique side chairs. Crafted in France circa 1880, and built of walnut, each chair stands on cabriole legs decorated with acanthus leaves at the shoulder, and ending with escargot feet. The chair features a rounded and arched back embellished with a carved floral decor at the pediment, and a comfortable wide and deep seat over a bombe apron decorated with hand carved floral motif. Both seat and back are outfitted with hand woven cane, and further dressed with a removable custom fabric cushion with a hard bottom to protect the caning. The six dining chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina with delicate beige seat caning. Measures: 21″ W x 21.5″ D x 37.5″ H
