Decorate a patio with this elegant pair of antique outdoor planters filled with fruits and flowers. Carved in France, circa 1880, and built of concrete, each stone jardinière stands on a square base over a short pedestal with a gadrooned shaped basin; the neoclassical urn has a wide ribbed body with flared rim and decorated with an array of fruit, vegetable, and floral motifs in high relief on top. Included in the bouquet assortment are plums, grapes, apples, pears, citrus, bananas, corn, and eggplant. The “trompe l’oeil” garden ornaments are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and have evidence of outdoor use. Each sculptures adorns a beautiful painted weathered finish in a red, yellow, green, and purple color palette. A wonderful addition for an outside garden. They are heavy and durable – each one weighs 89 pounds! Measures: 15.5 Diameter x 23.25″H.
