18th Century French Marble Top Painted Iron Pastry Table with Bronze Mounts
$6,600
About
Rectangular in shape, the antique “Table de Boucher” (butcher table or pastry table) would add the ideal amount of surface space to any kitchen. Crafted in France circa 1780, the table features intricate metal work and beautiful scrolled legs, decorated with bronze round finials and circular medallions. The legs sit on caster wheels which makes this table easy to move around. The work table surface is dressed with the original thick white marble top. The table is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original patinated black paint finish. Incorporate this elegant work table in a kitchen as a center island, or use it as a small wall console in an entry or hallway. A true one-of-a-kind! A few old chips and stains on the marble top (see detailed images). Measures: 35.5″ W x 25.5″ D x 31” H.
