Decorate a den, living room or hallway with this elegant pair of antique benches. Crafted in France circa 1960 and rectangular in shape, each elegant seat stands on six ornately carved legs decorated with acanthus designs. The benches are further embellished with intricate curved stretchers around the bottom, embellished with shell leaf motifs in the center. The seating rests on a heavily carved apron with scrolled foliage decor, is upholstered with button-tufted leather seats in deep brown, and detailed with a brass nail head trim. The pair of Louis XIV style benches are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich gilt patinated finish. Versatile, the stools could also be placed at the foot of a king size bed! 45″W x 18″D x 20″H
