Carved in France, circa 1880, each heraldic plaque features a top crown and carved folded sides topped with a floral finial. The center depicts a family crest with animal paws and chateau and castle. The medieval style plaques are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rubbed patinated hand painted finish in the deep blue, red and gilt palette. Strings attached for easy hanging. 11″W x 13.5″H
