Decorate an entry or breakfast room with this elegant antique desserte table. Crafted in France circa 1880, the console with serpentine sides stands on four cabriole legs decorated with acanthus leaves at the shoulders and ending with escargot feet at the bottom. The table features two carved drawers across the front dressed with intricate bronze handles. The desserte is further embellished with two lower tier shelves for display or storage over a scalloped apron decorated with a carved shell motif. The surface is dressed with a shaped and curved variegated red marble top. The tall and narrow serving table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and used, and adorns a rich walnut patina. The piece also has a top display shelf (see picture). Measures: 53.5″ W x 19″ D x 39″ H.
