This interesting antique wall decoration was sculpted in central France, circa 1890. The ceramic, hand-painted bagpipe features paintings of figures singing and dancing in traditional, local outfits. The faience piece could be used as a dry flowers vase on a kitchen wall. The bagpipe is in excellent condition with rich colors and is signed “Mont dore Auvergne” on the back.
