This rectangular, antique terracotta wall plaque was crafted in Provence, France, circa 1860. The personal wall hanging cameo features a woman’s profile in relief inside an oval and beige background. The outside frame is decorated with relief hand-painted flowers and leaves to add to the feminine quality of the piece. The decorative piece is in excellent condition and has its original painted finish. This ceramic work of art would make a beautiful addition to a bedroom, bathroom or powder room.
