This elegant antique tray was created in France, circa 1870. Oval in shape, the large black tole platter is embellished by hand painted gilt decor around the lip, and a colorful hand painted center medallion depicting a romantic picnic in the park with horses and dog. The colorful tray table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated finish. Measures: 29.5″ W x 23.5″ D.
