About
This antique table was crafted in the Poitou region of France, circa 1880. The rustic, oak piece decorated with the word “Provence” across the front, has a very thick top and features two rows underneath specifically for storage up to eight wine bottles total. This sturdy, rustic Provincial table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina; it would make a great addition to a kitchen, wine cellar and all entertainment purposes. Antique wrought iron plank holder tool included. Provence, a region in southeastern France bordering Italy and the Mediterranean Sea, is known for its diverse landscapes, from the Southern Alps and Camargue plains to rolling vineyards, olive groves, pine forests and lavender fields. To the south is the Côte d’Azur (or French Riviera), where the elegant city of Nice and glamorous resort towns such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes line the coast. Measures: 36″ W x 15″ D x 32″ H.
