Place this ceramic pot in an outdoor patio or garden space as a planter, or inside as a vessel for storage in a kitchen or mudroom to bring an authentic old world feel to your home. This elegant antique jar was hand-crafted in Greece circa 1920; round in shape with narrow base and neck, the large vessel features a rolled rim at the top. The wide body is decorated with ribbed ovoid motifs in high relief throughout, with a few black marks on it from the firing process. The tall Mediterranean olive pot sits in an iron, tripartite base, is in excellent condition with wonderful character, and is adorned by a rich earthenware weathered finish. The piece weighs 90 pounds. Measures: 21″ diameter 39″ height.
