Crafted in France, circa 1880, this large, hand carved sculpture sits on an attached oval base; it features a horse figure rearing up on its back legs, fully tacked with English style saddle and bridle. The piece is further dressed with two ropes hanging from its neck with two large tassels that add dynamic, old world charm. The piece is adorned with a silvered patinated finish, very realistic shape and details, and is stabilized on a pole on the front of the horse. The animal sculpture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and could be used to decorate a children’s room, or in a study or ranch house. A must for any horse lover! Measures: 46.5″ W x 11.5″ D x 51″ H.
