Bring Classic, French elegance into your home with this large rococo hand carved hall lantern. Crafted in France, circa 1860, this traditional hexagonal light fixture is a true showstopper. The wooden lantern with dome top and scroll decor, has beautiful carvings including acanthus leaf motifs, and features three lights decorated with decorative candle sleeves, and centered around a brass stem. The bottom is embellished with an ornate cone shaped finial. The ceiling fixture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gold leaf finish. The tall Louis XV style giltwood lantern would make a nice addition to an entryway, hallway or landing. Included: A canopy, loop, and chain; each color-matched to the fixture. Measures: 17″ diameter x 35″ height.
