About
Decorate a mantel or a console with this elegant pair of antique Louis XVI cassolettes. The marble vessel with ornate side handles, features a decorative removable lid with cone-shaped bronze finial at the pediment. Each vase is further embellished with swag mounts draped around the periphery, and a bundle of wheat, hat and harvesting scythe under the traditional Louis XVI ribbon bow. The tall carved cassolettes with variegated marble colors in the red and grey palette, are in excellent condition with a rich patinated bronze finish. Place these large vases on a buffet for an undeniable Parisian, French elegance. The covered urns could also be converted into beautiful table lamps. Measures: 9.5″ W x 9″ D x 20.5″ H.
