Decorate a study or office with this elegant vintage armchair. Crafted in Provence, France, circa 1990, the chair stands on cabriole legs decorated with leaf motifs at the shoulders, and ending with scroll feet over a decorative X stretcher. The chair features an arched and scalloped back embellished with shell and foliage decor, an further dressed with carved open armrests decorated with carved acanthus leaves. Both comfortable seat and back is upholstered with traditional cane, over a bombe scalloped apron embellished with foliage decor. The Louis XV style desk armchair is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina throughout. Measures: 23″ W x 19″ D x 38.25″ H.
