This long antique, rectangular “Poissonniere” (or fish pot) was crafted in France, circa 1909. Made of copper with two copper handles attached with rivets and interior removable zinc grille liner, this country kitchen essential could still be used for fish cooking. The pot kettle is in excellent condition, and adorns a rich, patinated polished finish. This sturdy, versatile, traditional piece could also be used as a decorative flower jardinière center piece, or simply displayed on top of kitchen cabinets. stamped by the maker J. Jacquotot. Measures: 23″ W x 6.5″ D x 6.75″ H.
