Add surface space in your bedroom with this elegant pair of antique nightstands. Crafted near Genoa, Italy circa 1870, each cabinet built of walnut, stands on bun feet over a straight plinth base; each traditional piece with clean lines features a single drawer decorated with a brass pull, over a cabinet door with recessed panel, also embellished with a decorative brass handle, and opening to middle interior curved shelf for ultimate storage; each cabinet is further decorated with acanthus leaf motifs in high relief on both sides. The surface is dressed with an inset two-tone shaped grey marble top with cut corners. Decorate a master bedroom or guest room with this true pair of nightstands, one opening to the right, the other to the left! The tall Louis Philippe bedside tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich light patina associated with the original variegated stone top. Small corner repair on one top (see last picture). Measures: 19.75″ W x 14.25″ D x 36.5″ H.
