About
Add an elegant focal point to your study or library with this antique Spanish desk. Carved in Spain circa 1750, the trestle table stands on two intricate carved legs, connected with a thick, forged and twisted wrought iron stretcher. The top built with one single plank, rests on three hand carved drawers, embellished with the original forged iron pulls, and the back side features three stationary drawers also hand carved the same way. The large spacious writing table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina and wonderful distress throughout; versatile, it could also be used against a wall over a tapestry, or as a console behind a sofa. Measures: 53.5″ W x 29.5″ D x 31.5″ H.
