This traditional, antique chest of drawers was crafted in the Poitou region of France, circa 1800. The fruit wood commode stands on scrolled feet over a scalloped apron decorated with a bronze mount, and features four serpentine drawers across the front embellished with bronze handles and matching escutcheons. The chest is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina. Place this elegant and versatile cabinet in a bedroom, a living room or an entry for additional clothing storage and organization.
