This antique coal bucket was created in England circa 1870, made of metal, the colorful bucket stands on brass feet and has a large brass handle at the pediment; the slant door with elegant hinges features a hand painted pastoral scene with castle, landscape, pond and fishermen; holding the round knob, the door lifts up to reveal inside storage. The decorative box is in excellent condition with original paint, and could be use next to a fireplace to store wood burning logs. Measures: 14″ W x 10.5″ D x 14.5″ H.
