About
Decorate a breakfast room or dining room with this elegant antique table. Crafted in France circa 1850 and oval in shape, the large fruitwood table built from solid oak wood, stands on curved and carved legs, and embellished with a decorative stretcher at the base, indicative of traditional craftsmanship. The table features two large drop leaves which come up to become an elegant race track shape when opened. The large dining room table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina; the table would easily sit eight to ten people. The versatile and functional table design allows the sides of the table to be raised or lowered, making it versatile for different spaces and uses. Versatile, it could also be used as a demilune table against a wall, or behind a sofa as a console table. Bottom silver bowl not included.
