This antique carved marble composition was crafted in France, circa 1870. The sculpture features a child sited on a chair her legs crossed and playing with her fingers. The art work shows exquisite detailed craftsmanship; the chair’s construction with turned legs, carved rush seat and back with decorative finials, the girl’s hair and coiffure, the delicate details on her face, feet and fingers.
