Crafted in France circa 1870 and built of mahogany wood, the elegant antique cabinet stands on front rounded columnar supports embellished with decorative bronze mounted rings at the shoulder and the bottom, and ending with square feet. The small chest features a freeze drawer and two additional standard drawers across the front dressed with brass knobs, over an open niche embellished with a half-moon shape platform base. The surface is dressed with the original rectangular variegated black marble top. The petite Empire style bedside table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich walnut patina; versatile, it could also be used as an occasional side table, nightstand or small console. Measures: 25.5″W x 15″D x 29.75″H.
