This antique planter, crafted in northern France circa 1880, exudes a wonderful charm and character. The round bucket is composed of brass and copper, featuring two intricately cast lion’s head motifs with ring handles, adding a regal touch to the piece. The decorative hammered copper finish enhances its rustic elegance, while two brass bands encircle the bucket, providing a striking contrast. Versatile and functional, this cache-pot can be repurposed as a waste basket, a decorative storage container, or as a statement jardinière for plants. The jardinière is in fair condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated finish. Some separation and corrosion around the bottom see last picture. Measures: 14.5″ x 13.75″ x 11.5″H
