Crafted in France circa 1880, the art work depicted on the folding screen is a lush still-life composition, featuring an opulent display of flowers and fruit in a garden or terrace setting. The central focus is a large bouquet of vibrant flowers, including roses and peonies, arranged in a terracotta vase. Surrounding the vase are various fruits, such as peaches and melons, casually placed on the ground.
