Crafted in the Burgundy region of France circa 1860, the antique gilt mirror has traditional lines with rounded corners; the rectangular frame is decorated with a discrete engraved floral motif throughout the frame. The elegant wall piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, dressed with the original mercury glass and wood backing, and adorns a rich and rubbed patinated gold leaf finish. New hooks and wire in the back for easy handling and installation. Versatile and with great proportions and size, the Louis Philippe mirror could be placed in a powder room, bedroom or entryway. Measures: 20.25″W x 27.25″H.
