Decorate a hall way or add extra seating to a den or game room with this elegant antique painted church bench. Crafted in northern France circa 1870, and built of solid oak wood, the seating stands on six carved, turned legs connected with a bottom stretcher. The top is upholstered with a grey cotton fabric embellished with a discrete chevron pattern. The Louis XIII style bench is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich rubbed patinated painted finish in the grey palette; versatile and over seven foot long, it would also make a beautiful statement in an entry, or be used in a hallway. Measures: 87″ W x 18″ D x 19″ H.
