Decorate a hunting lodge with this fine antique fireplace tool set. Crafted in France, circa 1870, the “Serviteur” features a hunting theme including a horn at the top, a gun and a rabbit on the stem, and flowers, foliage, and a dog motif at the base. The stand sits on four small feet shaped as acanthus leaves. The set has three fireplace tools decorated with bronze finial handles: it includes a shovel, tongs and a poker. The Napoleon III style tool set is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with wonderful, ornate details in high relief, and adorns a rich patinated bronze finish. Measures: 12.5″ W x 10″ D x 25.5″ H.
