Create a bar area with this elegant antique cave à liqueur. Created in France circa 1870 and built of bronze with floral decor in each corner, the decorative liquor box stands on curved feet decorated with acanthus leaf motifs. The bar essential is fitted with glass panels on all five sides including the top. The inside reveals a portable tray containing four crystal decanters with stoppers and 16 etched crystal cordials. Each glass and bottle is beautifully embellished with hand painted engraved etching floral decor. The Napoleon III liquor cave is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a beautiful bronze dore finish. This Tantalus would make a sophisticated addition to a man’s study or a formal living room. Key included. Measures: 13″ W x 10.5″ D x 11″ H.
