19th Century French Sevres Bronze Dore and Hand Painted Porcelain Jardinière

Attributed to the Manufacture de Sevres this elegant, antique jardinière was crafted in Paris, France, circa 1860. Standing on a twisted bronze dore base, the colorful centerpiece is dressed with a pierced bronze gallery rim and elegant intricate side handles. The porcelain is decorated with two hand painted medallions with bird and foliage motifs. The bowl is further embellished with hand painted decor on the inside. The beautiful center piece with gilt ormolu embellishments and rich colors is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn beautiful painted decor in the cobalt blue and Provencal green. This jardinière would make a lovely addition on top of a chest, or on a dining room table. 14.5″ Diameter 11.5″H
