These six elegant country chairs were crafted in Normandy France, circa 2000. Carved from solid oak, each chair stands on turned front legs and back legs, all connected with a bottom stretcher. Each chair has a tall pitched back with four scalloped ladders across for great support and comfort, and embellished with a carved cone shaped finial. The large seat is wide and deep and dressed with a handwoven colorful rush surface. The whole dining table set is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a dark walnut patina throughout. These chairs would be a perfect addition around a breakfast room table, and would give your home an undeniable country French look. Measures: 18″ W x 16″ D x 42″ H.
