$525
About
For the ultimate country French look, decorate a kitchen cabinets with this antique bucket! Crafted in France circa 1920, the sweet can features two elegant side handles and the original removable top, which extends in a hollow container all the way to the base of the can. This separate piece, which slides in and out of the can, was originally painted to feature a gentleman and a lady; rust has since masked some of the original decor. The container is decorated throughout with hand painted floral, leaf, and bird motifs in a mint green, red, yellow, gold, pink and black palette. The medium-sized, traditional dairy can is in good condition and is adorned with a rich patinated painted finish. Versatile, the decorative pot could also be used as a vase to hold dried flowers, or place next to a front door to catch folding umbrellas. Measures: 11″ W x 8.5″ D x 11.5″ H.
