About
This elegant antique chandelier was created in France, circa 1920. Round in shape, and built of iron, the chandelier features a center quadruple stem. The fixture has six forged double scroll arms newly wired, embellished with metal acanthus leaves, ending with a iron bobeche decorated with crystals all around; each light is dressed with the original wooden candle sleeve covers. The chandelier is further embellished with small rosette medallions around the central base. The large wrought iron chandelier is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original patinated bronze finish with gilt accents throughout. Beautifully shaped in a classic Louis XV style, the heavy ceiling light is ready to be hung in a breakfast room, dining room, or a den or study. Included: a canopy, loop and chain, each color-matched to the fixture. Measures: 35″ diameter 27″ height.
