Listen to soft, cheerful music in your living room with this traditional, antique music box. Crafted in Paris, France circa 1920, the wood case with inlaid decor, has black painted finish and a center hand painted motif featuring two birds holding a torch surrounded with floral and foliage decor. The lever-cranked, glass-enclosed brass mechanism with song tracker, plays six classical songs, including “Manon”, “La Mascotte”, “L’Étoile du Soir”, “Chant de l’Oiseau Moqueur”, “La Fille du Tambour Major” and “Marche du Commis Voyageur”. The traditional music instrument is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, and wonderful working order. Key included. Some wear on the painted center motif (see detailed images).
