Decorate an office or study with this large antique silvered sculpture composition attributed to Wilhelm Zwick. Created in Germany circa 1907, and signed “Resch 1907”, the sculpture is set on a rectangular base, and depicts an elegant race horse mounted with his jockey. The composition with wonderful details, is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated silver finish. A must have for any horse lover! Wilhelm Zwick (1839-1916) was a German sculptor known for his work with the Kayserzinn company. His sculptures often depicted dynamic figures and scenes, such as athletes and animals, reflecting the artistic trends of his time. Zwick’s collaborations with Kayserzinn, a prominent German manufacturer of pewter ware, resulted in a range of decorative items that combined artistic expression with functional design. 18″W x 5″D x 17.25″H
