This elegant eight foot oval walnut dining room table was crafted using antique timbers, and followed an 18th century design from the Pyrenees of France. The table sits on a trestle base, supported by a pair of hand carved “Montferrer” pedestal legs, ending with molded shoe base, and connected with a thick bottom stretcher at the bottom; each leg support is further embellished with a decorative wrought iron diamond shape mount at the bottom. The large race track shaped surface features an exquisite decor with a rectangular marquetry band, including a Classic carved French Fleur-de-Lis motif in each corner. The long and wide table is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina throughout; a wonderful breakfast table that would sit eight to ten people. Measures: 95.75″ W x 47″ D x 30″ H.
