Created in China circa 1960, the large vessel with flared rim and tapered body, is decorated with lizard and foo dog motifs around the neck. The neck boasts two charming canine scenes, capturing the spirited playfulness of dogs romping and frolicking throughout. The central section showcases two meticulously hand-painted equestrian scenes, where horses take the spotlight, accompanied by playful dogs running in the foreground. These exquisite depictions are framed by an enchanting backdrop adorned with building elements, lush foliage, and majestic mountain peaks. The colorful antique vases are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorn rich painted colors in an blue, green and rust palette over a glazed background with gilt scroll work throughout.
