Crafted in Rouen, France circa 1940, the antique ceramic planter sits on escargot feet over a scalloped apron. The oblong planter dressed with elegant side leaf form handles, features a scalloped and shaped rim around the top, and is embellished with a carved decorative bombe shell in the center. The detailed, ornate flower pot is decorated with hand painted floral motif medallions on both sides with accompanying foliage. The elegant oval faience centerpiece jardiniere is in excellent condition with rich colors in the blue, yellow, red and green palette. Marking on the bottom for further authentication. Measures: 18.5″ W x 9.5″ D x 8″ H.
