Decorate a patio with this elegant pair of antique outdoor planters filled with fruits and flowers. Carved in France, circa 1960, and built of concrete, each stone jardinière stands on a square base over a short pedestal with a gadrooned shaped basin; the neoclassical urn has a wide ribbed body with flared rim and decorated with an array of fruit and floral motifs in high relief on top. Included in the bouquet assortment are plums, grapes, apples, pears, citrus, and bananas. The “trompe l’oeil” garden ornaments are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a beautiful patinated weathered finish and evidence of outdoor use. A wonderful addition for an outside garden. They are heavy and durable – each one weighs over 96 pounds! Measures: 14.5 Diameter x 22.75″H.
