Decorate a mantel or buffet with this colorful pair of antique urns. Crafted in France, circa 1870, each vessel stands on a square bronze base decorated with concave corner. Each cassolette is dressed with a lid embellished with decorative cone-shaped bronze finial over a pierced bronze neck; the urn is decorated with elegant swan face figures side handles and further embellished with floral swag mounts draping around the body under the traditional Louis XVI ribbon bow. The large cassolettes are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn rich colors in the grey, rust and white palette with patinated gilt bronze finish. Place these large vases on a console for undeniable Parisian, French elegance. The urns could also be converted into beautiful table lamps. Each weights 42 pounds. Each Measures: 9″ W x 8″ D x 21.5″ H.
