Pair of 19th Century French Painted Weathered Iron Garden Chambord Urn Planters
$2,600
About
Decorate a backyard with this elegant pair of antique planters. Crafted in the Loire Valley of France circa 1860 in the neoclassical style, the large vases have a stately, elegant style. Each “Chambord” flower pot stands on a square base over a circular foot; the planter features a flared rim with egg-dart molding, and dual scrolled foliate handles over a gadrooned body. Both heavy garden urns are in excellent condition and adorn the original weathered patinated painted finish with evidence of outdoor use; they would make an elegant statement or on either side of a front door, on a patio, or around a swimming pool. Drainage hole in the bottom. Weights 67 pounds each! Measures: 28″ W x 19.5″ D x 17.5″ H.
