These elegant antique wall plaques were crafted in the Alps of Switzerland, circa 1880. The trophies compositions are displayed on a scalloped board decorated with leaf motifs around the edges. Each plaque features two beautifully hand carved hunting partridges and curlew in high relief, with legs tied at the top with a ribbon bow. Both sculptures are in excellent condition, with exquisite detailed carvings, and adorn a rich walnut patina. The decorative wall plaques would make a great addition to any rustic hunting lodge, a ranch house, or simply hang in a man’s office. Measures: 13″ W x 22″ H.
