These important hand carved rock crystal bowls on stand were crafted in Brazil. Built in two pieces, the compote stands on a square base decorated with a brass band mount to the base, over a circular swivel bowl is round in shape. The large pair of bowls are in excellent condition with a rich patinated clear finish and gilt bronze accent. Versatile, these decorative dishes could be used on a dining table filled with fruit or vegetables, or use it as a vide-poche on an entry console. Can be sold separately.
