About
These elegant colorful Famille Rose vases were created in China circa 1950. Standing tall, the large vessels feature a flared rim and hexagonal body. Each body is adorned with vibrant floral and peacock motifs, characteristic of traditional Chinese design. The bodies of the vases are predominantly white, with intricate hand-painted peonies, birds, and foliage including chrysanthemum, lotus, and cherry blossoms, in rich hues of turquoise, pink, green pale, and orange palette. The necks and rims feature detailed geometric patterns in soft pinks and blues, accentuating the overall ornate appearance. The tall porcelain vases are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. The vases could easily be placed on either side of a mantel or atop of a console. Honorific four-character Yongzheng period mark on the underfoot for further authentication. 7.5″ Diameter 17.5″ H
