Place these elegant antique lamps on a pair of bedside tables or on top of a console in an entry! Crafted in Italy circa 1950, each hand carved lamp sits on a large square pedestal base decorated with foliate motifs, providing a stable foundation while contributing to the overall elegance of the design. The lamp’s design features classical elements, such as a bulbous urn shape, adorned with carved fluted patterns and acanthus leaf motifs near the top and bottom. The gilding, though showing some age, adds a rich and warm tone to the piece, indicative of its vintage or possibly antique status. Both lights have new wiring decorated with a pull on and off chain. The large Neo-classical fixtures are in excellent condition, and adorn a rich two-tone silver leaf and gilt patinated finish. A fine example of traditional European craftsmanship.
