Crafted in France circa 1950, and attributed to Maison Baguès in Paris, theses elegant brass cocktail tables are both useful and stylish. Each table has a popular faux bamboo frame with wonderful, clean lines and a modern, neoclassical sensibility; the frame is further embellished with an X crossed bottom stretcher. The low table surfaces are dressed with an inset smoked mirrored glass top. Both midcentury tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich patinated gilt finish. Place this pair of matching coffee tables in a living room, library, or office. Since 1860, The Maison Baguès has been located in the center of Paris and specializes in the creation of luxury furniture and lighting.
