Decorate an outside front door or a backyard with this elegant pair of Levriers (French for Greyhound). Crafted in southern France and carved of stone, each tall greyhound is set on an integral flat base. Seated on their back legs, both dogs have a proud expression further embellished with a collar around their neck. Both stone canines are in excellent condition and adorn a rich patinated antique weathered finish with evidence of outdoor use. The could be used on either side of a front entrance or in a garden. Each dog weighs 90 pounds. The Greyhound is a sight hound which has been bred for coursing game and greyhound racing. Since the rise in large scale adoption of retired racing Greyhound, the breed has seen a resurgence in popularity as a family pet; it is also referred to as an English Greyhound. Measures: 15” W x 12” D x 31.5” H.
